MetroLux Lighting is a division of Quality Lighting, a Philips group brand. The company is devoted to providing high efficiency lighting products for the roadway market. These products include roadway sign luminaires, high mast lowering systems and pole-mounted luminaires for highways and interchanges, wall-mounted luminaires for tunnel and underpass lighting, and flood and area lighting products.

MetroLux, through Quality Lighting, has more than 35 years of experience in designing and manufacturing high performance outdoor lighting products. Among the company's achievements, they are noted for the following:

• Introduced High Mast lighting and Lowering Systems to the U. S. in 1968
  
• Pioneered the use of vertical lamp technology for roadway and area lighting more than 20 years ago.
  
• Pioneered the use of computers and software for use in lighting design.
